I remember asking a guy friend what would happen if I accidentally fell for a close friend.
“In time, you’ll get over it,” he told me.
I can’t believe how true this phrase is. Over time, feelings will wither away, and everything will feel more like a memory. The process of getting out of an unrequited love can be very painful, especially when you’ve fallen for one of your best friends. After all, you’re always close to them.
